Practical Training For Care, Support & Educational Environments

RSDO Training provides practical, experience-led training for organisations working across health and social care, support, behavioural and educational environments throughout the UK.

With experience supporting more than 700 care settings and training thousands of staff over the years, our training is designed around the real environments staff work within every day.

Established in 2013, RSDO Training continues to support organisations through practical, realistic and supportive training delivery designed to help staff feel more confident, better prepared and better supported within their roles.

Much of our work continues to come through repeat organisations, referrals and long-standing professional relationships developed over many years within the care and support sectors.

Experience-Led Training Built Around
Real Working Environments

RSDO Training was established to provide practical training that reflects the realities staff face within care, support, behavioural and educational environments every day.

Training is delivered by Andy Williams, whose background spans decades of teaching, coaching and frontline professional experience, including many years within the police service as both a tutor and sergeant.

Working across hundreds of care and support environments over the years has provided valuable understanding of the different pressures, behaviours, communication challenges and operational realities staff teams may encounter day to day.

Working across such a wide range of organisations over many years also provides valuable understanding of the different behaviours, communication challenges, staffing pressures and practical situations staff may experience across the sector.

Supporting such a broad range of organisations also provides broader understanding of the practical situations staff experience across the sector, helping training remain grounded in real-world experience rather than generic theory or purely compliance-focused delivery.

Our approach focuses on realistic, supportive and practical training designed to help staff feel more confident, informed and prepared within their roles.

Training is delivered flexibly around the operational realities many organisations face, including shift-based and night-working environments.

Supporting A Wide Range Of Organisations

RSDO Training works across a broad range of care, support, behavioural and educational environments, including:

  • care homes
  • nursing homes
  • supported living services
  • residential care settings
  • dementia care environments
  • mental health services
  • learning disability support services
  • children’s homes
  • schools and educational settings
  • housing associations
  • behaviour-focused and high-support environments

No two organisations are the same, which is why training should reflect the realities staff experience within their own working environments.

We understand that different settings face different pressures, challenges and operational demands, which is why our training is always designed to feel practical, supportive and relevant to the people attending it.

Practical, Supportive & Experience-Led Training

At RSDO Training, we believe effective training should help staff feel more confident, better supported and better prepared within their roles.

Training is designed to encourage discussion, practical understanding and realistic learning rather than overwhelming staff with theory-heavy or purely box-ticking approaches.

Our approach focuses on:

  • practical understanding
  • communication and confidence
  • supportive learning environments
  • realistic working situations
  • staff awareness and safety
  • person-centred approaches
  • helping staff feel better prepared within their roles

We understand that staff often work within demanding, fast-moving and emotionally challenging environments, which is why training should feel supportive, practical and relevant to the realities of day-to-day care and support work.

The aim is not simply to deliver compliance-focused training, but to provide realistic, experience-led training that staff can apply within real working environments.

Flexible Training Delivery To Suit Your Organisation

RSDO Training provides both onsite and remote training delivery depending on the needs of the organisation and course requirements.
